If there is one beauty brand that distinctly impressed me lately it is MALIN+GOETZ from New York. That I am easily attracted by good design is not a secret. But if the ingredients and results of a product convince me just as much as the packaging I finally cannot resist. Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, the founders of MALIN+GOETZ, developed an easy but equally effective two-step care principle for face, hair and body. There is one specific product for cleansing and a second specific product for moisturising. All product are made for sensitive skin which is why they can perfectly be used for any skin type. Furthermore they are unisex and made for ladies and gentlemen at the same time.
MAILN+GOETZ develop and manufacture their products locally in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Thereby they support small, family-owned businesses following the philosophy “sustainable, fair and equal”.

Wenn mich in der letzten Zeit eine Beautymarke ganz besonders nachdrücklich begeistert hat, dann ist es MALIN+GOETZ aus New York. Dass mich gelungenes Design anspricht, das dürfte kein Geheimnis sein. Wenn aber dann auch noch etwas Gelungenes drin steckt, kann ich nicht widerstehen. Matthew Malin und Andrew Goetz, die Gründer der Marke, haben ein einfaches, aber gleichzeitig äußerst wirksames zweistufiges Pflegeprinzip für Gesicht, Haar und Körper entwickelt. Es gibt also jeweils ein Produkt für die Reinigung und eines für die Pflege. Da alle Produkte ausgehend von sensibler Haut entwickelt werden, sind sie gut verträglich. Außerdem sind alle Produkte unisex und daher nicht nur für Damen, sondern gleichermaßen für Herren interessant.
Alle MALIN +GOETZ Produkte werden übrigens lokal in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut entwickelt und hergestellt. Dabei werden kleine Familienunternehmen unterstützt, ganz nach dem Motto “nachhaltig, fair und gleichberechtigt”.
Advanced Renewal Creme & Revitalizing Eye Creme
The first two products from MALIN+GOETZ I would like to show you are the Advanced Renewal Cream and the Revitalizing Eye Cream.
The Advanced Renewal Cream helps to increase the elasticity, firmness and hydration of the skin by stimulation the collagen production. By enabling the skin to retain more moisture small wrinkles disappear.
The Revitalizing Eye Cream helps to decrease little wrinkles and lines with the help of amino-acid peptides. By hydrating the skin with it targets puffiness and dark circles.
I have been using both products for about two months now and enjoy applying them every day. My skin feels a lot softer and healthier. Also both creams perfectly prepare my skin for my make-up routine.
Advanced Renewal Cream & Revitalizing Eye Cream
Die ersten beiden Produkt aus dem Sortiment von MALIN+GOETZ, die ich euch vorstellen möchte, sind die Advanced Renewal Cream und die Revitalizing Eye Cream.
Die Advanced Renewal Cream versorgt die Haut mit Feuchtigkeit und sorgt für eine Stimulation der Kollagen-Produktion. Dadurch werden Elastizität und Straffheit verbessert. Da die Haut vermehrt Feuchtigkeit behalten kann, verschwinden sogar kleine Fältchen.
Die Revitalizing Eye Cream verhilft der Haut dazu kleine Falten und Linien mit Aminosäure Peptiden zu verringern. Die Haut wird mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt, leichte Schwellungen vergehen. Auch Augenringen wird dadurch entgegen gewirkt.
Ich verwende die beiden Cremes seit circa zwei Monaten in Kombination. Seither ist meine Haut viel weicher und fühlt sich gesünder an. Außerdem eignen sich die Produkte prima als Grundlage für meine tägliche Make-Up Routine.
Essentials Travelset
Then there is the MALIN+GOETZ Essentials Travelset. It consists of six products, two for hair, body and face. And also here the two-step principle of cleansing and moisturising is applied. These are the products included:

Finally a beauty brand has noticeably put effort in providing a product that we did not know we would need but that makes every trip a lot more pleasant. From now on I am happy to skip cheap free hotel products. The set comes in a transparent, carry-on approved zip bag which even provides enough space for my perfume, deodorant and toothpaste.
Thank you MALIN+GOETZ! Your Essentials Travelset allowed me to enjoy my three-weeks trip to the States even more because I did not have to worry about my daily beauty routine. And I did not even run out of any of the products in the three weeks we travelled.

Dann wäre da das MALIN+GOETZ Essentials Travelset. Es umfasst sechs Produkte, jeweils zwei für Haar, Körper und Gesicht. Und auch hier greift das zweistufige Prinzip auf Reinigung und Pflege. Folgende Produkte sind enthalten:

Hier hat sich endlich einmal eine Beautymarke sichtlich Gedanken gemacht und etwas entwickelt, von dem wir zwar erst einmal nicht glauben, dass wir es brauchen, dass uns aber jede Reise merklich versüßt. Billige Gratisprodukte im Hotel – darauf kann ich ab sofort verzichten. Das Set kommt sogar in einem transparenten Zip-Mäppchen, das im Handgepäck zugelassen ist. Hierin ist sogar noch Platz für Deo, Parfum und Zahnpasta.
Danke MALIN+GOETZ! Ein wirklich gelungenes Set, das mir schon auf meiner Reise in die Staaten sehr viel Freude bereitet hat. Und es ist sogar nach 3 Wochen Urlaub noch etwas übrig.
Perfumes by MALIN+GOETZ
Talking about perfume: MALIN+GOETZ recently launched their perfume collection consisting of six different scents. My favorites are Stem and Dark Rum however the latter is a little too heavy for me for everyday use. Therefore I went for Stem – a fresh whilst floral scent with top notes of mandarin leaves, wild freesia greens and hyacinth florets, midnotes of muguet flower stalk, rose centifolia stems and jasmine buds and dry notes of white cedar, vetiver, ambrox super and musk molecules. I cannot wait for summer to come as I believe Stem will be my absolutely favorite summer perfume this year.
Parfüm von MALIN+GOETZ
Wo ich gerade schon von Parfüm gesprochen habe, möchte ich euch folgendes nicht vorenthalten: kürzlichen hat MALIN+GOETZ auch eine Duft-Kollektion bestehend aus sechs Düften gelauncht. Meine Favoriten hieraus sind Stem und Dark Rum, wobei letzteres für meinen Geschmack als Alltags-Duft etwas zu schwer ist. Ich habe mich also für Stem entschieden – einen frischen, zugleich floralen Duft mit Kopfnoten von Mandarinen-Blättern, wilden Freesien und Hyazinthenblüte, eine Herznote aus Maiglöckchen, Rosenblütenextrakt und Jasminknospen und einer Basisnote aus weißer Zeder, Vetivergras und Moschusmolekülen. Ich kann den Sommer kaum abwarten, denn Stem wird sicher einer meiner Lieblingsdüfte in diesem Jahr.
Scented candles
Last but not least let me tell you about the MALIN+GOETZ scented candles collection. All candles are made in Brooklyn which I think is super cool and available in the same scents as the perfumes plus even more. However Dark Rum was too heavy for me as a perfume it is the most amazing scent for my living room. I wish this candle would never finish burning. It creates an atmosphere of pure relaxation and I don’t even want to imagine the day I light it the last time. #sorrynot sorry for being dramatic. 🙂
Duftkerzen
Zu guter Letzt möchte ich auch die Duftkerzen von MALIN+GOETZ erwähnt haben. Alle Kerzen werden in Brookly hergestellt – was ich übrigens wahnsinnig cool finde – und sie sind sowohl in den Duftrichtungen der Parfüms, aber auch noch in weiteren Sorten erhältlich. Hier ist mein Favorit definitiv Dark Rum, denn was für meine Haut etwas zu schwer war, ist für mein Wohnzimmer geradezu perfekt. Die Kerze sorgt für eine Atmosphäre der absoluten Entspannung und ich möchte gar nicht an den Tag denken, an dem ich sie das letzte mal anzünde. #sorrynotsorry für diese dramatische Ausdrucksweise. 🙂
