START OF SPRING

Sunday was the first real day of spring in Munich and my friend Lisa and I decided to use the great weather to go on a little shooting tour. And these are the first photos of that day. I was wearing a comfy jersey dress, denim jacket and Converse sneakers and added some golden jewellery. And as the sun was shining all day long I was able to wear my new KBL sunglasses. KBL is a New York based eyewear brand you should definitely check out in case you do not know it yet. Their wide range of frames and lenses is impressive and besides their sunglasses collection they also offer amazing prescription glasses.

Am Sonntag war hier in München der erste richtige Frühlingstag und da haben Lisa und ich gleich die Gelegenheit beim Schopf gepackt, uns die Kamera geschnappt und eine kleine Shootingtour gestartet. Und hier zeige ich euch schon die ersten Fotos davon. Ich habe mein super beqeuemes Jerseymidikleid, eine Jeansjacke, Converse Sneakers und goldenen Schmuck getragen. Und bei dem Traumwetter durfte meine neue KBL Sonnenbrille nicht fehlen. KBL ist ein New Yorker Brillenlabel, das ihr auf jeden Fall auf dem Schirm haben solltet, wenn ich genauso Sonnenbrillen-verrückt seid, wie ich. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Rahmen und Gläsern ist riesig und auch die Korrekturbrillen-Kollektion wunderschön.

I have to admit I could not resist doing some “essentials for spring” shopping and altough I always think of the typical economics students when seeing blouses striped in blue and white I could not resist this AG Jeans beauty. To add a bit more of my style to the rather square look I chose to wear boyfriend jeans, sneakers and my beloved cashmere coat from Zara. You might have realized my new bag which is actually not really new but was a good shot on ebay. It is from Chloé and some seasons old already but I love the shape and colours.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich wieder einmal schwach geworden bin und ein bisschen Frühlingshopping betrieben habe und auch wenn ich immer ein bisschen Abneigung gegen blau-weiß gestreifte Blusen gehegt habe (sind ja immer der typische “BWL-Studentinnen-auf-Starbucks-Tour-Look), habe ich diesem hübschen Teil von AG Jeans dann noch nicht widerstehen können. Und um mit selbst treu zu bleiben, mussten eine Boyfriendjeans, Sneakers und mein Allerlieblings-Kaschmirmantel von Zara zum komplettieren herhalten. Wie ihr vielleicht gemerkt habt, ist auch meine Tasche neu – und doch irgendwie auch nicht, denn die habe ich bei ebay geschossen und kann mich jetzt stolze Besitzerin einer Chloé Bag nennen. Zwar ist die Tasche schon ein paar Saisons alt, Farbe, Größe und Stil haben mich aber überzeugt.

Ray Ban Round

My friends are aware of this already but still I sometimes try to deny: I absolutely love sunglasses and could buy a new pair every day. However of course I can’t. You can never have enough shades but you never have enough money to buy all those you like. But I just could not resist and although it is winter in Germany right now I got me these Ray Ban Round Metal sunnies with golden frames and classic green lenses. And they immediately became my kind of every day all day favourites. By the way I went to optician Fielmann and was impressed by their perfect consulting. Although their prices are a little higher than those online shops offer I enjoyed this shopping experience a lot and will definately purchase there again.

What do you think about my outfit and new shades?

Meine Freunde wissen längst Bescheid und trotzdem versuche ich es immer wieder zu leugnen: Ich liebe Sonnenbrillen und könnte glatt jeden Tag eine neue kaufen. Natürlich kann ich das nicht – man kann nie genügend Sonnenbrillen haben, aber man hat auch nie genügend Geld um all die zu kaufen, die einem gefallen. Und ich konnte trotzdem nicht widerstehen und habe mir (ja ich weiß es ist Winter) dieses runde Modell mit goldenem Rahmen und klassischen grünen Gläsern von Ray Ban gegönnt. Kaum einmal getragen, wurde diese Brille mein Alltags-Favorit. Ich habe sie übrigens bei Fielmann gekauft und war von der Beratung wirklich begeistert. Der Werbung möchte man ja immer so ungern glauben, jedoch werde ich auch in Zukunft, wenn ich einmal wieder nach einer Sonnenbrille suche, zuerst dort nachfragen.

Brands Fashion THIS IS...

Dear Daria

Just another denim brand’s image campaign is what one could think having a first quick look at AG Jeans’ newest campaign. But having a closer look you’ll discover this is different than what you might have expected. Topmodel Daria Werbowy who is the face of the AG Jeans campaign the third time in a row is not only showing women styles but also was chosen to be the one wearing the men’s looks this season. I am not missing any male model and I bet neither do you!

Wieder mal eine Jeansmarken Imagekampagne, wie es sie schon zu tausenden gibt – das könnte man zumindest meinen, wenn man einen ersten kurzen Blick auf die neue Imagekampagne von AG Jeans wirft. Sieht man aber etwas genauer hin, scheint allerdings etwas anders zu sein und man wird stutzig. Daria Werbowy – weltweit berühmtes Model und von den Laufstegen der großen Designer nicht mehr wegzudenken – ist nun schon zum dritten Mal das Gesicht der AG Jeans Kampagne, aber zeit zum ersten Mal nicht nur Damen Styles, sondern auch die Herrenlooks der Saison. Und mir geht das männliche Model zugegebenermaßen so gar nicht ab, bei dem tollen Job den die liebe Daria und das Team aus Designern, Styling, Haare, Make-up und Co. da gemach hat, euch denn etwa?

Kann es kaum erwarten eure Reaktionen zu lesen und zu hören!

Hey guys! I am so sorry for not having uploaded a post recently but Oktoberfest time is my favorite time of the year and these two weeks of celebrating do not leave a lot of time for blogging. I hope you accept my apologies for this!

But as promised I now uploaded a new denim outfit all in very dark blue combined with an oversized white blouse and my Matthew Williamson bag for a little touch of glamour.

Hallo Ihr Lieben, jetzt habe schon eine ganze Weile pausiert, aber wenn die Wiesn losgeht, ist es nunmal einfach um mich geschehen. Ich liebe unsere fünfte Jahreszeit einfach und deshalb bin ich leider nicht eher dazu gekommen euch das Outfit zu zeigen, das wir kürzlich geshootet haben!

Hier ist es aber endlich! Und wie versprochen steht im Fokus wieder Denim. Dieses Mal in sehr dunklem Blau und wieder von AG Jeans. Ich habe ja wieso eine Schwäche für deren Kollektionen und die Jeansjacken haben es mir dieses Mal einfach besonders angetan.

Ich hoffe euch gefällt die Kombi mit einer weißen Oversize Bluse und einem Touch Glamour dank meiner kleinen Matthew Williamson Tasche.

Hey guys, I have told you about my favourite denim label AG jeans several times already but this autum’s collection again totally flashed me – and not only the main collection but also their second colaboration with Alexa Chung! Besides stunning denim pieces this season it even included suede, silk and wool and therefore offers something for anybody’s taste.

I totally fell in love with AC for AG’s “The Dottie“ which is the cute night blue silk blouse with little white dots I am wearing with today’s outfit. And as I love mixing styles I thought some ripped denim would fit the silk perfectly. So I chose the ripped, dark pants and blue denim jacket to complete the look. And what shoes would fit better than my white Supergas?

Hallo meine Lieben! Von meinem Lieblingsjeanslabel AG Jeans habe ich euch ja bereits ein paar Mal erzählt und auch die diesjährige Herbst/Winterkollektion hat es mir mal wieder angetan. Und nicht nur die, sondern auch die zweite Kollaboration mit Alexa Chung! Neben (natürllich) Denimteilen, wurde dieses Mal auch Wildleder, Seide und Wolle verarbeitet und so ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack ein neues Lieblingsteil dabei.

Ich habe mich in „The Dottie“ verliebt, die nachtblaue Seidenbluse mit weißen Pünktchen, die ich auf den Fotos trage. Und weil ich es besonders mag, wenn verschiedenen Stilrichtungen gemixt werden, passt für mich dazu nichts besser als löchriger und zerschlissener Denim. Mein Dottie-Look ist also mit dunklen ripped Jeans, blauer Jeansjacke und weißen Supergas komplett!

Ich hoffe euch gefällt’s und wenn ja, verpasst nicht den zweiten Denim-Look, den es bald hier auf dem Blog zu sehen geben wird!
