KNIT COAT & DESTROYED DENIM

There is one combination in fashion I cannot get enough from and that is knit and denim. And with today’s post I am showing you two of my latest favourites – a knitted coat from Mango and destroyed boyfriend jeans from AG. Although this is one of the most relaxed outfits it also is one of my favourite ones. It is nothing special but still something that s perfect for every day life and you could still replace the sneakers by heels and the outfit is fine for dinner or going out. By the way I was trying to resist buying the hexagonal shaped Ray Ban sunglasses but when I tried them on in Spain and me as well as my boyfriend immediately loved them I searched for them all over the internet and compared prices until I found the exact same pair I was trying on when we were on holiday for the best price. I hope you like this outfit just as much as I do and I’d be happy to read your opinion on the comment section below.

Es gibt diese eine Kombi in der Mode, von der ich nie genug bekommen – Strick und Denim. Und im heutigen Post habe ich zwei meiner aktuellen absoluten Lieblingsteile zu einem Outfit kombiniert, das vielleicht nichts weltbewegend besonderes ist, aber doch eines meiner Favoriten. Ich trage einen Strickmantel von Mango und meine heiß geliebte Boyfriend Jeans von AG. Damit ist das Outfit genau das richtige für den Alltag und wenn man die Sneaker durch Pumps ersetzt, eignet sich der Look dennoch für ein Abendessen oder zum Ausgehen. Ich habe übrigens wirklich versucht dieser tollen Sonnenbrille mit hexagonal beformten Gläsern von Ray Ban zu widerstehen, nachdem ich sie in Spanien anprobiert habe. Weil sie aber nicht nur mir, sondern auch meine Schatz so gut gefallen hat, hat sie mir keine Ruhe gelassen und ich hab das Internet nach genau der Glasfärbung durchforstet und gefühlt Ewigkeiten Preise verglichen, bis ich sie dann endlich im Warenkorb hatte. Ich hoffe euch gefällt mein Outfit genauso gut wie mir und ich würde mich außerdem freuen, eure Meinung dazu in den Kommentaren unten zu lesen.

BEST OF KNIT

Hi my dears, after a few days in bed due to a nasty flu I finally found some time to prepare a new post for you. My closet is full of knitted sweaters and I still can’t get enough. Is there anything better than a cup of hot tea, a good movie and a cozy knitted sweater for a winter day on the sofa? I love  these days surrounded by your beloved ones. By the way we bought a sofa and I really can’t wait showing you our flat as soon as it is fully furnished. But this will take some time. In the meanwhile let’s get back to the sweater thing. I combed through all our favourite online shops like About You, Bonprix, Breuninger, Edited, NET-A-PORTER and so on to make a beautiful selection of sweaters to show you. I chose sweater of any price to make sure everyone finds the prefect one matching also their bank account. But please don’t ask me which one is my favorite because I have to admit I could all of them call mine. But whatever… I am sure one of them will stay on my mind for many more days and this will be it in the end.

Meine Lieben, nachdem mich eine fiese Grippe einige Tage ans Bett gefesselt hat, bin ich am Wochenende endlich dazu gekommen einen neuen Post für euch vorzubereiten. Mein Schrank ist wirklich randvoll mit Strickpullis und ich kann trotzdem nicht genug davon bekommen. Gibt es denn auch etwas Schöneres, als mit einer Tasse heißen Tee, einem gute Film und einem gemütlichen Strickpulli einen richtigen Wintertag auf der heimischen Couch zu verbringen? Ich liebe solche Tage im Kreise seiner Liebsten über alles. Übrigens haben wir uns ein Sofa gekauft und ich kann es kaum erwarten euch einen Blick hinter die Kulissen von Passion Hearts werfen zu lassen. Aber bis es da nach etwas aussieht, dauert leider noch wenig, habt also noch ein bisschen Geduld. Aber jetzt zurück zum eigentlichen Thema. Ich habe euch Strickpullis versprochen, also bekommt ihr Strickpullis. Dafür habe ich das ganze weite Web durchforstet und in unser aller Lieblingsshops die Sahnestücken herausgesucht. About You, Bonprix, Breuninger, Edited, NET-A-PORTER und wie sie doch alle heißen, haben meine Erwartungen in Sachen Strick geradezu übertroffen. Ich habe also, damit für jede von euch der richtige Pulli dabei ist, das Passende für jeden Geldbeutel zusammen gesammelt. Bitte fragt mich nicht nach meinem Favoriten, denn ich hätte sie wirklich alle gerne im Schrank. Aber was soll’s… Es ist doch immer so, dass dich ein Teil dann wochenlang nicht in Ruhe lässt und dann weißt du, der soll es sein.

NAVY SWEATER WEATHER

Hi guys, those of you who know me also know about my obsession for sunglasses and I was so happy when I had the chance to choose one of the amazing sunnies of Esprit Eyewear. The range of styles they offer is amazing – from pastel tones, over a wooden look to the beautiful striped ones I chose. For this outfit I combined my new sunnies with a cozy sweater matching the autumn weather and super comfy flares sweat pants.

Hi Leute, wer von euch mich kennt, weiß auch von meiner Obsession für Sonnenbrillen. Und da war ich natürlich ganz aus dem Häuschen, als ich mir ein Modell aus der aktuellen Linie von Esprit Eyewear aussuchen durfte. Die Auswahl ist übrigens riesig und ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden. Meine Wahl ist schließlich auf ein ausgefallenes gestreiftes Modell gefallen. Besonders gut haben mir aber auch die pastellfarbenen Modelle und eine Brille in Holzoptik gefallen. Es ist wirklich für jeden Hauttyp und jede Gesichtsform die richtige Brille dabei und das beste ist, die Kollektion ist tatsächlich erschwinglich. Ihr solltet euch das also nicht entgehen lassen – schließlich scheint auch im Herbst und im Winter oft kräftig die Sonne und wer lässt sich schon gerne blenden?! Für das heutige Outfit habe ich meine neue Sonnenbrille zu einem kuscheligen warmen Strickpulli getragen, der perfekt ins aktuelle Herbstwetter passt und bin dazu in eine unheimlich bequeme Schlaghose aus Jersey geschlüpft.

NICE T-SHIRT

Sometimes all you need is a nice shirt to make your oufit complete. I found the perfect one at Asos a while ago and also took these photos before we went on holiday already. You can tell from my really still very white skin but I wanted to show you the outfit anyway. By the way this was my favourite leather jackets and I lost it that day we went on holiday… I was wearing it at the airport but forgot it in the bathroom and the person that found it unfortuntely did not bring it to lost & found. Seems like he or she is collecting bad karma… Well at least I still have some photos of it 🙂

What I actually wanted to write about is this shirt I am wearing which is actually not only nice but perfect. I love the grey details and print on the front and think it would also look great with a skirt or underneath a slip dress. I can’t wait to try more combos.

Manchmal braucht es nicht mehr als ein nices Shirt und schon steht das Outfit. Ich habe das perfekte vor einiger Zeit bei Asos gefunden und auch die Fotos damit sind noch vor unserem Urlaub entstanden. Leider sieht man das auch ziemlich deutlich an meiner sehr blassen und noch so gar nicht sonnengebräunten Haut. Übrigens war die Lederjacke auf den Fotos meine absolute Lieblingslederjacke und leider habe ich sie an dem Tag, als wir in den Urlaub geflogen sind auf der Toilette am Flughafen vergessen und nie wieder bekommen. Der bzw. die Finder/in haben sie nämlich nicht zu Lost & Found gebracht, sondern eingesackt – scheint wohl schlechtes Karma sammeln zu wollen… Naja immerhin bleiben mir diese Fotos der Jacke 🙂

Und eigentlich wollte ich ja auch von meinem Shirt erzählen. Ich finde nämlich nicht nur, dass es nice ist, sondern eher sogar perfekt. Die grauen Bündchen und der Print gefallen mir unheimlich gut und ich denke auch in Kombination mit einem Rock oder Slip Dress sieht es klasse aus. Ich sollte das wohl mal alles ausprobieren.

Hallo ihr Lieben, das vergangene Wochenende hat wirklich alles gegeben, was gutes Wetter im Herbst anbelangt. Die Mäntel könnten also doch nochmal im Schrank bleiben. Dafür habe ich meine neue Jeansjacke, zusammen mit einem meiner Lieblingsshirts und meinen aktuell liebsten Sneaker herausgeholt und bin mit meiner Familie Minigolf spielen gegangen. Das Shirt habe ich vor vielen vielen Jahren mal am Flohmarkt erstanden und es ist mir seither ein sehr treuer Begleiter. Und gerade jetzt wo die “Logomania” einmal wieder um sich schlägt, hole ich es besonders gerne aus dem Schrank. Schließlich braucht es dann nicht mehr viel drum herum und das Outfit steht blitzschnell.

Ich mag den Herbst ja schon irgendwie recht gerne. Schließlich ist es die beste Zeit für Lederjacken, Trenchcoats und Jeansjacken. Alle drei Klassiker sind aus meinem Schrank wirklich nicht wegzudenken und ich freue mich, dass ich sie endlich wieder einmal herausholen kann.

Hey folks, the past weekend was the perfect golden autumn weekend. The sun was shining and the thick winter coats stayed in the closet for some more days. This is why I put on my new denim jacket, together with one of my favorite shirts and my personal must-have sneakers for the season for having some mini golf fun with my family. The shirt I am wearing is really old and I bought it at a fleamarket several years ago. But now that “logomania” is all over the fashion world I needed to get it out for a walk again. Outfits are just super easy with this shirt as you do not need any further eyecatchers and are perfectly dressed in a second.

I have to admit that altough I miss summer I also like autumn a lot. It is the perfect season for leather jackets, trenchcoats and denim jackets. Classics that must not be missing in my closet and I am happy to have to opportunity to finally wear them again.

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

I hope you are not fed up with the many posts about our holidays yet but there is another outfit I want to share with you. I really like wearing black but usually I add grey white or beige to lighten up the look a bit. This time I chose to wear an “all black everything” outfit and combined a chiffon, semi-transpartend midi-dress by French Connection together with the black denim jacket by Esprit I showed you before and black lace-up sandals from Mango’s last season. The dress has several layers and consists of an upper semi-transparent dress and a slip dress to wear beneath. I loved the loose fit and how it was weaving in the wind. We shot this outfit in Búger again – the little village near our second accomodation – as I just loved the bush with flowers that you see in the background so much.

Ich hoffe ihr habt noch nicht genug von den vielen Posts über unseren Urlaub, hier kommt nämlich ein neues Outfit, das wir ebenfalls auf Mallorca fotografiert haben. Ich trage wirklich gerne schwarz, kombiere die dunklen Teile aber für gewöhnlich mit weiß, grau oder beige, um die Looks ein bisschen aufzuhellen. Dieses Mal habe ich aber trotzdem und bewusst nur schwarze Teile ausgewählt, nämlich ein semi-transparentes Midi-Kleid von French Connection, meine schwarze Jeansjacke von Esprit und Sandalen zum Schnüren aus der letzten Kollektion von Mango. Das Kleid besteht eigentlich aus zwei Teilen: dem leicht transparenten Überkleid, das so traumhaft luftig geschnitten ist, dass es wunderschön in der warmen Brise geweht hat und einem slipdress als Unterkleid. Dieses Outfit haben wir übrigens wieder in Búger fotografiert – dem kleinen Ort nahe unserer zweiten Unterkunft – denn der wunderschöne blühende Busch im Hintergrund hatte es mir schon bei unserem ersten Besuch total angetan.

Wie findet ihr denn OUtfits ganz in schwarz? Zu duster, oder doch besonders elegant? Ich bin gespannt auf eure Meinung!
