ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

I hope you are not fed up with the many posts about our holidays yet but there is another outfit I want to share with you. I really like wearing black but usually I add grey white or beige to lighten up the look a bit. This time I chose to wear an “all black everything” outfit and combined a chiffon, semi-transpartend midi-dress by French Connection together with the black denim jacket by Esprit I showed you before and black lace-up sandals from Mango’s last season. The dress has several layers and consists of an upper semi-transparent dress and a slip dress to wear beneath. I loved the loose fit and how it was weaving in the wind. We shot this outfit in Búger again – the little village near our second accomodation – as I just loved the bush with flowers that you see in the background so much.

Ich hoffe ihr habt noch nicht genug von den vielen Posts über unseren Urlaub, hier kommt nämlich ein neues Outfit, das wir ebenfalls auf Mallorca fotografiert haben. Ich trage wirklich gerne schwarz, kombiere die dunklen Teile aber für gewöhnlich mit weiß, grau oder beige, um die Looks ein bisschen aufzuhellen. Dieses Mal habe ich aber trotzdem und bewusst nur schwarze Teile ausgewählt, nämlich ein semi-transparentes Midi-Kleid von French Connection, meine schwarze Jeansjacke von Esprit und Sandalen zum Schnüren aus der letzten Kollektion von Mango. Das Kleid besteht eigentlich aus zwei Teilen: dem leicht transparenten Überkleid, das so traumhaft luftig geschnitten ist, dass es wunderschön in der warmen Brise geweht hat und einem slipdress als Unterkleid. Dieses Outfit haben wir übrigens wieder in Búger fotografiert – dem kleinen Ort nahe unserer zweiten Unterkunft – denn der wunderschöne blühende Busch im Hintergrund hatte es mir schon bei unserem ersten Besuch total angetan.

Wie findet ihr denn OUtfits ganz in schwarz? Zu duster, oder doch besonders elegant? Ich bin gespannt auf eure Meinung!

SUMMER WITH NUXE

As promised I today want to show you two products that I used everyday troughout our holidays and I need to tell you about them. When I first used NUXE’s Huile Prodigieuse* I knew this is forever. It is a unique dry oil spray formulated with precious plant oils and vitamin E that will deeply nourish and condition your skin. The skin feels very smooth after using the oil and I love the scent of it. And so does my boyfriend 🙂 Many reasons to take it on holiday with me. And even better: you can use it for your hair as well. Talking about hair I want to tell you about the second product I used which is the After-Sun Hair & Body Shampoo* of NUXE’s sun line. Just as the oil the scent is amazing and although my hair was challanged by daily sun bathing, wind and a lot of salt water it is not ruined. The shampoo kept it shiny and healthy and I am happy that these two products joined me on our amazing summer trip.

Wie versprochen zeige ich euch heute zwei Produkte, die ich während unseren Urlaubs jeden Tag verwendet habe. Als ich das Huile Prodigieuse* von NUXE zum ersten Mal verwendet habe, wusste ich gleich, das ist etwas für die Ewigkeit. Dieses wirklich einzigartige Trockenöl mit Pflanzenölen und Vitamin E versorgt und pflegt die Haut bis in die Tiefe. Nach der Anwendung fühlt sich die Haut herrlich zart and und es riecht einfach göttlich. Findet übrigens auch mein Freund 🙂 Viele Gründe also, um das Öl auch mit in den Urlaub zu nehmen. Übrigens, pflegt es nicht nur die Haut, sondern auch das Haar und wo ich schon von Haaren spreche, komme ich auch gleich auf das zweite Produkt zu sprechen, das mich täglich im Urlaub begleitet hat. Es geht um das After-Sun Hair & Body Shampoo* aus den Sonnenpflege-Linie von NUXE. Genau wie das Öl riecht es einfach toll und obwohl meine langen Haare täglich Sonne, Wind und Salzwasser ausgesetzt waren, sind sie jetzt nicht kaputt. Das hat vorher noch kein Produkt geschafft und ich bin wirklich baff. Meine Haare glänzen wie vorher und sind immer noch gesund. Beide Produkte waren also eine wirkliche Bereicherung für unseren Urlaub.

DRESS CASUALLY

I can’t believe how fast times goes by… Since our holidays on Mallorca it seems like ages passed. But I still have some outfits I wanted to show you before I finally let you have a look at my fall and winter wardrobe. This time I was wearing a cute dress by French Connection together with a denim jacket and Adidas slippers. I really like to wear dresses in a very casual way and hope you also like this outfit.

As I am still in Mainz right now hangig out with my boyfriend, this is it for today but stay tuned. I will show you how I kept my skin and hair healthy despite a lot of sunbathing, wind and salty water.

Es fällt mir wirklich immer wieder schwer zu glauben, wie schnell die Zeit doch vergeht… Zwar sind wir erst seit zwei Wochen zurück aus dem Urlaub, aber es kommt mir doch vor wie eine halbe Ewigkeit. Aber ich habe immer noch ein paar Outfits aus dem Urlaub, die auf euch warten und die möchte ich euch gerne noch zeigen, bevor es dann wirklich auch outfittechnisch Richtung Herbst und Winter geht. Dieses Mal geht es um ein süßes Kleidchen von French Connection, das ich zusammen mit einer Jeansjacke und meinen heiß geliebten Adiletten getragen habe. Ich mag es nämlich, Kleider auf eine legere Art zu kombinieren. Das nimmt dem ganzen immer die Spießigkeit.

Weil ich gerade noch in Mainz bei meinem Schatz bin, war es das für heute auch schon. Mehr kommt aber bald. Unter anderem zeige ich euch zwei Produkte, durch die meine Haut und meine Haare trotz Sonne, Wind und Salzwasser gesund bleiben.

POOL TIME

I am sick of the cold weather in Germany already. It is freezing cold outside but when you step into busses, trams and subways it is too hot to stand it. I wish we were back in Spain hanging out by the pool aaallllll day looong! I was talking about our AirBnB room before and today I want to show you the beautiful pool we had right next to the appartment and that we were almost using by ourselves only as to other guests hardly ever stayed at the accomodation but rather drove to the beach. I had to show you the amazing place and also my “almost everyday outfit” consisting of a striped lace-up shirt by Faithful the brand, a bikini and blue denim shorts. As I by the way don’t like how much space typical beach towels need in suitcases we bought some hamam towels from French brand Febronie via Westwing that need less space and also are less heavy. And of course a swimming ring must not be missing and as I wanted something different than the typical donut everyone has we bought an ananas.

I love looking at these photos again and thought it also might help you all to not get the winter blues to much already!

Ich sag’s euch: ich hab jetzt schon die Schnauze voll vom nasskalten deutschen Herbstwetter. Draußen ist es ungemütlich kalt und in Bus, Tram und U-Bahn ist die Heizung auf gefühlt 40 Grad eingestellt, sodass man sich fühlt wie in der Sauna und am liebsten unterm Daunenmantel einen Bikini tragen würde. Da wünscht man sich doch zurück in den Urlaub an den Pool. Ich habe ja schon kurz von unserer schönen Unterkunft auf Mallorca geschrieben und möchte euch heute dahin mitnehmen. Zu unserem Appartement hat eine traumhaft schöne und toll gepflegte Anlage inklusive Pool gehört und da die wenigen anderen Gäste der Pension sich kaum dort aufgehalten haben, sondern meistens an einen der umliegenden Strände gefahren sind, hatten wir den Pool so gut wie immer für uns allein. Ich musste ihn euch also unbedingt zeigen und wollte die Gelegenheit auch gleich nutzen, um euch mein absolutes “jeden Tag am Pool” Outfit zu zeigen. Am liebsten habe ich ein luftiges Hemd von Faithful the brand über meinem Bikini und dazu blaue Jeanshorts getragen. Weil es mich übrigens ziemlich nervt, wie viel kostbaren Platz normale Strandhandtücher im Koffer wegnehmen, haben wir uns vor dem Urlaub noch Hamamtücher von der französischen Marke Febronie bei Westwing bestellt. Die sind nicht nur platzsparender sondern besonders leicht und trockenen schön schnell. Perfekt also auch für den Strand oder als Unterlage auf der Sonnenliege. Und was natürlich nicht fehlen durfte war ein Schwimmring für den Pool. Ich finde aber, dass das Donut-Design schon ziemlich ausgelutscht ist und deshalb haben wir uns eine Ananas gekauft. 

Die Fotos vom Urlaub schaue ich einfach gerne immer wieder an und ich hoffe auch euch damit noch ein bisschen or dem Winter Blues bewahren zu können.

PALMA STROLLS

What I like most about travelling with airbnb is that you often come to certain areas of cities or countries that as a normal tourist you would have never visited. We are on holiday on the island of Mallorca right now and we chose to rent two different accommodations with airbnb. The first week we were right in Mallorca’s capital Palma but the house not directly located in the center but rather a living area with only locals living there. It was amazing to stroll through these streets and discover so many beautiful places. One was perfect for shooting and so I dressed up in a comfy but still very feminine outfit and we got it started. I was wearing a beautiful midi denim skirt from French Connection together with a cropped top, platform Supergas and some little accessories. Beneath the cropped top I put on a lace bra that I bought several years ago at Women’s Secret when I was in Madrid and which I still love a lot. By the way they have a very similar one right now at Women’s Secret again and it is even on sale so I could not resist buying it again. Old but gold – you know 😀

Was ich am Reisen mit AirBnB so gerne mag, ist, dass man oft in bestimmten Stadtteilen unterkommt, on die es einen als normalen Tourist nie verschlagen hätte. Wir sind gerade im Urlaub auf der Baleareninsel Mallorca (die im Übrigen nur zu einem Bruchteil aus dem schrecklichen Ballermann besteht) und haben uns dafür entschieden für die beiden Wochen, die wir hier sind jeweils eine andere AirBnB Unterkunft gebucht. In der ersten Woche waren wir in der mallorquinischen Hauptstadt Palma und haben dort in einem Stadthaus in einem reinen Wohnviertel gewohnt. Es war wunderschön hier durch die Straßen zu spazieren und immer wieder neue schöne Ecken ohne viele Touristen zu entdecken. Und so haben wir auch diese traumhafte Shootinglocation gefunden. Ich habe mich also mit einem coolen Midi-Jeansrock von French Connection, einem Crop-Top, meinen Superga Platforms und ein paar Accessoires in Schale geschmissen und los ging es. Unter dem Top trage ich einen Spitzen-BH den ich, als ich in Madrid studiert habe und diesen Blog gestartet habe, bei Women’s Secret gekauft habe. Alte Liebe rostet ja bekanntlich nicht und somit trage ich ihn immer noch unheimlich gerne. Übrigens habe ich bei einer kleinen Shoppingtour durch Palma wieder ein ganz ähnliches Modell bei Women’s Secret entdeckt und direkt nochmal zugeschlagen. Es ist nämlich momentan im Sale – wenn euch der Lace Bra also gefällt, seid schnell ihr Lieben!

POLLENÇA TOWN

As I promised there are a couple of posts from our holidays to Mallorca waiting for you and this is the next one. In the second week of you holidays we went to Pollença to see their weekly food market and have a walk through this beautiful town. It was a bit cloudy and therefore not too hot which was perfect for that day. Therefore I was wearing these blue mom jeans from Pull & Bear with eyelets all over, a simple black silk top, my new black Esprit denim jacket and Adidas slippers. I very much loved the narrow little streets of Pollença and can’t wait to go back to Mallorca as soon as possible and see even more of that beautiful island.

Wie versprochen, möchte ich euch nach und nach ein bisschen was von unserem Urlaub auf Mallorca zeigen und mache heute mit diesem Post weiter. In unserer zweiten Woche auf der Insel haben wir den Ort Pollença besucht, weil es dort jeden Sonntag einen Wochenmarkt mit Leckereien aus der Umgebung und zugegebenermaßen auch viel Krimskrams gibt. Es war etwas bewölkt und nicht ganz so heiß und damit gerade perfekt für unseren Ausflug. Ich habe also eine blaue Mom-Jeans von Pull & Bear mit ganz vielen Lochnieten an den Seiten angezogen, zusammen mit einen dünnen Seidentop, meiner neuen schwarzen Jeansjacke von Esprit und dem super bequemen Klassiker – meinen Adiletten. Besonders gut haben mir die süßen, engen Gassen der Altstadt gefallen und ich kann es kaum erwarten bald wieder nach Mallorca zu reisen und die Insel weiter zu erkunden.
