Super, super, Superga! I just love that brand and was more than happy when I got the new “Flatforms” with rope details. I can’t wait to wear them with my summer dresses and when I am finally on holiday. We are thinking about travelling to one of the Greek islands. Do you have any recommendations?

But let’s talk a little about today’s outfit. Together with my new Supergas am wearing high waisted jeans and a cropped top by MbyM. The sunnies are from Linda Farrow for The Row and were a great bargain at TK Maxx. I love their dark red and how they match my freckles. To complete the outfit I added my Proenza Schouler PS11 and a satin blazer I shopped at H&M’s online sale.

Super, super Superga! Ich liebe dieses Label und war ganz aus dem Häuschen, als ich die neuen “Flatforms” mit Bastdetails an der Sohle bekommen habe. Es wird definitiv Zeit, dass ich sie zu meinen Sommerkleider tragen kann und dann, wenn ich endlich im Urlaub bin. Wir denken gerade darüber nach auf eine der griechischen Inseln zu fliegen. Habt ihr vielleicht irgendwelche Tipps?

Aber jetzt ein paar Worte zum heutigen Outfit. Ich trage zu meinen neuen Supergas eine hoch geschnittene Jeans und ein Cropped Top von MbyM. Die Sonnenbrille von Linda Farrow for The Row habe ich bei TK Maxx gefunden (quasi ein Schnäppchen). Besonders toll finde ich das dunkle rot und wie es mit meinen Sommersprossen harmoniert. Durch meine Proenza Schouler PS11 und den Satin Blazer, den ich übrigens aus dem H&M Sale habe, ist das Outfit komplett.

THE SYLVIE COLLECTION

Dear ladies, it seems like summer finally arrived in Germany… It was cloudy but at least warm enough some days ego to refresh in my boyfriends rooftop pool. And this was the first opportunity to finally wear my new lace-up bikini which I totally fell in love with at first sight. It is one of many cute items of the Sylvie Collection of Hunkemöller. By the way this bikini does not only look great but also fits perfectly. In case you just like it as I do I recommend going to a Hunkemöller store nearby as I have to admit it is not available online anymore. Nevertheless there are so many more styles and I am sure you’ll find the perfect one for you.

Hallo Ladies, wie es scheint, ist nun endlich auch der Sommer in Deutschland angekommen… Zwar war es bewölkt, aber dafür warm, als ich vor ein paar Tagen zum ersten Mal den Pool auf dem Dach des Wohnhauses meines Freund einweihen konnte. Endlich! Denn das hieß ich konnte mich endlich in meinen neuen Lace-up Bikini schmeißen. Es ist nur ein Teil von vielen tollen Ein- oder Zweiteilern aus der Sylvie Collection von Hunkemöller. Übrigens war es nicht nur Liebe auf der ersten Blick, der Bikini passt dazu noch wie angegossen und lästige zupfen und ziehen bleibt mir damit erspart. Wenn er euch genauso den Kopf verdreht hat wie mir, dann geht am besten in den nächsten Hunkemöller Store, denn online ist das hübsche Teil leider schon vergriffen. Ein Blick in den Shop lohnt sich dennoch! Vielleicht findet ihr genau das richtige Sommerteil für die anstehenden Seeparties und Schwimmbadbesuche.

I am sure then you read the title “stars and stripes” you expected a rather american flag like looking outfit. But what you see is how I interpreted this frequentely used phrase. A little striped jersey dress I found at TK Maxx combined with my beloved Dr. Martens, Proenza Schouler PS11 Classic and fine rosé golden jewellery and here we go… Sometimes you do not need more than that.

Als ihr den Titel dieses Posts gelesen habt, ist vielen von euch sicherlich als erstes ein Outfit mit USA-Flaggen-Print in den Sinn gekommen. Falsch gedacht! Ich habe diesen viel genutzten Ausdruck anders interpretiert und dafür ein schlichtes Jerseykleid das ich bei TK Maxx gefunden habe mit meinen geliebten Dr. Martens, meiner Proenza Schouler PS11 Classic Bag und zartem rosé-goldenen Schmuck kombiniert. Manchmal braucht es eben nicht mehr als das denn das Ergebnis kann sich, wie ich finde, sehen lassen.

KNIT + SKIRT

An a-line mini skirt and knitted sweater are incompatible? Well with today’s outfit I wanted to prove the opposite. I think that it just depends on the accessories and my Ray Ban sunnies, platform Supergas, colourblocking clutch and fine golden jewellery by Sueños Jewellery make the outfit a perfect match. I am absolutely in love with this comfy look. Isn’t it just the right outfit for a spring day that is the morning is still quite cool but in the afternoon already warm enough to spent some time in the sun. How do you like the look?

Ein Minirock und in Strickpullover in einem Outfit – das geht nicht? Mit dem heutigen Outfit möchte ich gerne das Gegenteil beweisen. Denn ich finde, es kommt hierbei nur auf die richtigen Accessoire an. Meine Ray Ban Sonnenbrille, Superga Platforms, Colourblocking Clutch und zarter goldener Schmuck machen aus dem Outfit eine perfekte Kombi. Ich bin wirklich verliebt in diesen bequemen Look, denn gerade für einen Frühlingstag, an dem es morgen noch frisch ist, nachmittags aber schon warm genug um ein wenig in der Sonne zu sitzen ist er wie gemacht. Und wie gefällt er euch?

TRUMPET SLEEVES

Since Ellery launched their summer collection full of styles with trumpet sleeves I could not get them off my mind anymore. Today I am showing you how I combine them to make them wearable as casual outfit. Sometimes less is more and this is why I only do show part of the sleeves and cover the rest with my new spring trench coat.

Seit das Label Ellery seine Sommerkollektion mit etlichen Teilen mit Trompetenärmeln gelauncht hat, sind mir diese nicht mehr aus dem Kopf gegangen. Heute zeige ich euch, wie ich Trompetenärmel alltagstauglich kombiniere. Manchmal ist weniger nämlich mehr und deshalb zeige ich den einen Teil der Ärmel. Der Rest ist von meinem neuen Frühlingstrenchcoat verdeckt.

Since we had more than 20 degrees and even did some tanning in the park some days ago I am totally in the spring mood and wanted to show you my must haves of this season. Finally we can leave our wool coats in our closets and wear our beloved bomber jackets again. Combined with Sneakers, some blue jeans and summer accessories such as the metallic bag by Weekend Max Mara and mirrored sunglasses the outfit is perfect to go. And ladies – is there anything more comfy than bustiers? Why not wear them as a top underneath the bomber jacket? I hope you like my must haves!

Seit wir vor einigen Tagen mehr als 20 Grad draußen hatten und es sogar warm genug war, um sich ein bisschen im Bikini zu sonnen bin ich total in Frühlingsstimmung und möchte euch deshalb meine Must-haves der Saison zeigen. Schließlich können wir endlich wieder die Wollmäntel ganz hinten im Schrank verstauen und unsere geliebten Bomberjacken hervorkramen. Zusammen mit Sneakers, Blue Jeans und ein paar sommerlichen Accessoires wie dieser tollen Ledertasche von Weekend Max Mara in Bronze und einer verspiegelten Sonnenbrille ist das Outfit auch schon komplett. Und Mädels – ganz ehrlich, was gibt’s gemütlicheres als Bustiers? Wieso also nicht direkt als Top unter der Bomberjacke tragen?! Was haltet ihr von meinen Must-haves?
