NUDE LACE-UP

Hey guys, when I first saw the Jamie sandals by Chloé I did not know they were Chloé but immedialety liked them a lot and already had dozens of outfits in mind they would perfectly fit with. When I then realized how much they were I was even a bit sad because that definitely was way to much to spent as I just bought that beautiful little Proenza Schouler Courier bag I am wearing in the pictures which was on sale but still not that much of a bargain. Thanks to Mango copying designs of the really big players in fashion I now have the sandals – not in Chloé quality but still looking amazing. Chloé please forgive me for buying the fake…

Hi Leute, als ich die Jamie Sandalen von Chloé das erste Mal gesehen habe, wusste ich nicht, dass sie von Chloé sind und mir sind gleich dutzende Outfits in den Kopf geschossen, zu denen sie einfach perfekt passen würde. Als ich dann gemerkt habe, in welchen teuren Spaß ich mich da verguckt hatte, war ich ein wenig traurig, denn ich hatte mir doch gerade erst die traumhaft schöne kleine Proenza Schouler Courier Bag gekauft, die trotz Sale nicht gerade zu den absoluten Schnäppchen zu zählen ist. Aber Dank Mango, die ja bekanntlich die Design der wirklichen Big Player des Fashion Business nicht gerade selten abkupfern, stehen die Sandalen jetzt in meinem Schrank – zwar nicht in Chloé Qualität, aber allemal wirklich hübsch. Chloé, an dieser Stelle möchte ich um Vergebung für diesen “Fake”-Kauf bitten…

STRIPES FOR SUMMER

Hey guys, sometimes you just need the be lucky. And I was when I was at a fleamarket in Munich two weeks ago. A women who owns an online shop for designer’s fashion sold some “only one left” pieces at a ridiculously low price. So of course I could not resist buying some of these super beautiful bargains and one are these Birgitte Herskind striped silk pants. And – lucky you! – they are on sale online right now. So check out the link below the pictures and get yours! I can only tell you the quality is great and they feel like a second skin – almost weightless, super smooth and airy.

Leute, manchmal braucht man einfach ein bisschen Glück. Und das hatte ich definitiv vor zwei Wochen als ich hier in München über den Flohmarkt spaziert bin. Eine Dame, die einen Onlineshop für Designermode betreibt, hat einige “letztes Teil”-Sahnestückchen zu lächerlich guten Preisen verkauft. Da konnte ich natürlich und ja, auch zum Entsetzen meines Geldbeutels (günstige Designermode ist schließlich immer noch Designermode), nicht widerstehen und habe zugeschlagen. Eines der Schnäppchen ist diese gestreifte Hose des dänischen Labels Birgitte Herskind. Und Mädels – aufgepasst – die Hose ist gerade im Sale. Klickt am besten mal auf den Link unter den Bildern. Ich kann nur sagen, tolle Qualität! Die Hose fühlt sich an wie eine zweite Haut – federleicht, weich fließend und luftig.

SUMMER EVENING VIBES

Summer in Munich, that is enjoing the “English Garden”, relaxing at one of the many lakes round the city, watching a movie in one of the open air cinemas and hanging out with your friends in the “Biergarten”. Today I am showing you an outfit that is the perfect outfit for one of those summer days. I am wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans shorts by American Vintage together with Adidas slippers and my Costume National leather jacket in case it gets a little cool in the evening. With some fine golden jewellery – mine is from Sueños Jewellery – the look is complete. Let’s hope it’s a weekend with just those summer days we have all been waiting for way too long already…

Sommer in der Landeshauptstadt, das heißt für uns Münchner das Flair des Englischen Garten zu genießen, an einem der vielen Seen um die Stadt herum zu entspannen, Movie Night in einem unserer Open Air Kinos und gemütliche Abende mit Freunden bei einem lauen Lüftchen und Leckereien im Biergarten. Heute zeige ich euch ein Outfit das für einen solchen Sommertag in München wie maßgeschneidert ist. Ein schlichtes weißes T-Shirt, Jeanshorts, Adiletten und eine Lederjacke falls es gegen Abend doch ein wenig kühler werden sollte. Der Look wird durch ein bisschen unaufdringlichen goldenen Schmuck komplettiert – meiner ist übrigens von Sueños Jewellery. Hoffen wir doch mal, dass dieses Wochenende eines mit genau solchen Sommertagen wird, auf die wir dieses Jahr schon viel zu lange warten…

FLATFORMS

Super, super, Superga! I just love that brand and was more than happy when I got the new “Flatforms” with rope details. I can’t wait to wear them with my summer dresses and when I am finally on holiday. We are thinking about travelling to one of the Greek islands. Do you have any recommendations?

But let’s talk a little about today’s outfit. Together with my new Supergas am wearing high waisted jeans and a cropped top by MbyM. The sunnies are from Linda Farrow for The Row and were a great bargain at TK Maxx. I love their dark red and how they match my freckles. To complete the outfit I added my Proenza Schouler PS11 and a satin blazer I shopped at H&M’s online sale.

Super, super Superga! Ich liebe dieses Label und war ganz aus dem Häuschen, als ich die neuen “Flatforms” mit Bastdetails an der Sohle bekommen habe. Es wird definitiv Zeit, dass ich sie zu meinen Sommerkleider tragen kann und dann, wenn ich endlich im Urlaub bin. Wir denken gerade darüber nach auf eine der griechischen Inseln zu fliegen. Habt ihr vielleicht irgendwelche Tipps?

Aber jetzt ein paar Worte zum heutigen Outfit. Ich trage zu meinen neuen Supergas eine hoch geschnittene Jeans und ein Cropped Top von MbyM. Die Sonnenbrille von Linda Farrow for The Row habe ich bei TK Maxx gefunden (quasi ein Schnäppchen). Besonders toll finde ich das dunkle rot und wie es mit meinen Sommersprossen harmoniert. Durch meine Proenza Schouler PS11 und den Satin Blazer, den ich übrigens aus dem H&M Sale habe, ist das Outfit komplett.

THE SYLVIE COLLECTION

Dear ladies, it seems like summer finally arrived in Germany… It was cloudy but at least warm enough some days ego to refresh in my boyfriends rooftop pool. And this was the first opportunity to finally wear my new lace-up bikini which I totally fell in love with at first sight. It is one of many cute items of the Sylvie Collection of Hunkemöller. By the way this bikini does not only look great but also fits perfectly. In case you just like it as I do I recommend going to a Hunkemöller store nearby as I have to admit it is not available online anymore. Nevertheless there are so many more styles and I am sure you’ll find the perfect one for you.

Hallo Ladies, wie es scheint, ist nun endlich auch der Sommer in Deutschland angekommen… Zwar war es bewölkt, aber dafür warm, als ich vor ein paar Tagen zum ersten Mal den Pool auf dem Dach des Wohnhauses meines Freund einweihen konnte. Endlich! Denn das hieß ich konnte mich endlich in meinen neuen Lace-up Bikini schmeißen. Es ist nur ein Teil von vielen tollen Ein- oder Zweiteilern aus der Sylvie Collection von Hunkemöller. Übrigens war es nicht nur Liebe auf der ersten Blick, der Bikini passt dazu noch wie angegossen und lästige zupfen und ziehen bleibt mir damit erspart. Wenn er euch genauso den Kopf verdreht hat wie mir, dann geht am besten in den nächsten Hunkemöller Store, denn online ist das hübsche Teil leider schon vergriffen. Ein Blick in den Shop lohnt sich dennoch! Vielleicht findet ihr genau das richtige Sommerteil für die anstehenden Seeparties und Schwimmbadbesuche.

WICKERWORK

Is there anything more summery than baskets and other wickerwork? Whenever I see such furniture I think of holiday houses in warm countries and immediately feel like being in one of them. Bloomingville is one of my favourite interior shops as you might have realized already and again they overwhelmed me – his time with their beautiful collection of wickerwork. How do you like it?

Gibt’s etwas sommerlicheres als Bast- und Strohkörbe und sowieso Flechtwerk? Wann immer ich solche Einrichtung sehe, muss ich sofort an ein Ferienhaus im Süden denken und habe gleich das Gefühl in genau so einem zu sein. Bloomingville ist, wie ich vielleicht schon bemerkt habt, einer meiner Lieblingseinrichter und wieder einmal haben sie mich überwältigt – dieses mal mit der tollen Auswahl an geflochtenen Produkten.
