Alex Chung for AG – The Honey Dress

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great week! At the agency we have a lot of work to do but therefore I am even luckier that Lisa and I look some photos last week. As you might remember I showed you two of my favourite pieces of the Alexa Chung for AG collection a few weeks ago and now I want to show you another amazing piece designed by Alexa – the Honey dress. I always was unsure about the trend of shouder free top and dresses but this lovely jeans dress just convinced me. The denim is super smooth and I think it could be the perfect companion for warm summer days. Do you recognize the pouch in the pictures? It is the one I bought last summer in Barcelona and I thought it perfectly fits the style of the dress.

Talking of summer – do you have any suggestions which destination I could chose for this years summer holidays? I maybe wanted to go to Greece for a few days, to one of these little white and blue coast villages with their special atmosphere but did not make a choice, yet. Have you been to one which you would recommend?

I am looking forward to your comments!

Leo Prints: Came to stay

DSC_2477

Hi my loves, how was your weekend? Mine was quite not really special. I just enjoyed the nice weather in Munich and haf fun seeing all the pictures of Coachella everyone uploaded on facebook, instagram and so on. I really would love to go there one day… Some friends and I are planning to go to Southside festival this year again as we had the best time last year seeing bands like Seed, Bastille and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Festivals just have this special atmosphere that I love so much and I can’t wait for this year’s Southside. I am already looking forward to showing you some festival looks soon!

Today’s look focuses on a trend we all have been knowing for a long long time and which is somehow neither leaving the shop windows not our closets – leo prints. A friend of mine always says “leo came to stay” and in my opinion she is absolutely right. The belt I am wearing is one I bought many years ago when I was about 13 years old and skinny enough that it fit around my hips. These times are over but I still like the belt and I thought it perfectly matches my Matthew Williamson bag which I by the way snatched at one of the many sample sales which take place every half year here in Munich. I love the pony hair mixed with the smooth leather and golden details. And altough it seems so small everything important fits inside.

Have a nice start into next week! And stay tuned – soon I will show you the new blog design! I can’t wait!
xx Feli

xx Feli

Alexa Chung for AG SS15

IMGP2320

If there is one It-girl that despite all her fame still seems like the girl next door and therefore is loved by so many it is Alexa Chung. Probably almost all of would secretly want to be her for one or another reason. I for example absolutely love her for being so much down to earth and for her style. That’s also why I was even more happy when I heard she designed a collection for my favourite denim label AG jeans. And it might be that my favourite jeans now has a new competitor. The Legging Ankle “7 Years Dreamer” of the AC for AG collection is one of those pieces you don’t want to undress once you have been wearing it. And I can say the same thing about the New Wave Shirt. I chose to buy it in Heather Grey with a black print but it is also available in Vintage White with a dark blue print.

You can by the way tell from any piece of the colecction that it was designed by Alexa herself. And the only thing there’s left to say is: thank you AG and Alexa Chung for teaming up and creating an amazing collection! I really hope there will be an AC for AG 2.0 collection.

Scroll down to buy your favourite AC for AG piece!
xx Feli

Man erkennt übrigens in jedem Teil Alexas Style wieder!
Ich würde unglaublich gern AC for AG 2.0 sehen!

Day `n` night in blue, black and white

My lovelies, who of you doesn’t know that nowadays: one appointment after another, one event after an other and this challenges us a lot when in comes to chosing an outfit which fits day and night events. This is a problem I know really well and therefore tried to find a solution to it which would mean changing a day outfit to one you can also wear at night.
of course there are probably a lot of possibilities to do this. The one I chose includes changing some pieces within the outfit. The base stays the same: a thin H&M knitted sweater and Zara leather pants. I chose grey pants as the fit a daily look better than black ones I thought. Then I replaced the white classic SUPERGA sneakers by my baby blue High Heels you might know from one of the posts from Barcelona already and substituted my favourite leather jacket from Mango by the black and white striped Riani coat. To avoid hours of undressing and dressing and putting on new make-up I just put on some red lipstick (mine is from M.A.C. Cosmetics) which in my opinion immediately changes a make-up from day to night. The result is a look that’s perfect for many kinds of night events and all that without spending hours on changes.
Thanks to Andreas Horn and his photography talent you cannot even tell from the pictures how freezing it was outside. I love his work! You should definately visit his website.
I hope you like today’s topic and I would love to read your opinions in comments below!
Bye for now and xx,
Feli
Feli

Grey December days: Leisure Society and NOBRAND

IMG_9540-1024x682

Dear everyone, this year’s winter lets us pretty much down – it’s not even really cold outside, so there is no snow and no White Christmas… But this at least leaves more options for outfits as you are not bound to the somehow boring down parka! Anyway you should never forget your  sunglasses these days as the weather is like in April and even the sun sometimes dares to shine through the grey clouds. I love the ones from American brand Leisure Society! By the way: do you know the portuguese shoes brand NOBRAND? They manufacture shoes in the traditional art of shoemaking. And what I appreciate most about this brand is the wide range of styles they offer. They sell shoes for any kind of taste. Check out the collection  on their website. I am sure you’ll love it!

Maybe you’ll find your last minute Christmas presents there?! Have fun shopping and a merry merry Christmas!
xx Feli

xx Feli

Summerdress and Carmina Campus Clutch

Hi guys, are you all doing well? Guess what – here is a new outfit post for you! Tamara from The Loud Couture and I quite spontaneously went outside to take some new pictures because the weather was so warm and sunny! I am so glad to have met her at the Stylight Party! She is such a kind and humorous person. I love her blog! It! 😉
Well and now more about the shooting and what I am wearing. As you know I am living in Munich and I love Munich’s architecture! The combination of old and new buildings is impressive! For the new picture we chose the wall of an old church as background. I think it perfectly matches the red and orange tones in my outfit. Do you agree? The dress is one of my favourite ones. I bought it at Zara some years ago and it was love at first sight! The silk is so soft and I love its pattern. The Clutch is called Money Bank Pouch and part of the new Carmina Campus collection. The brand was founded in 2006 by Ilaria Venturini Fendi creating handbads, jewels and furniture out of refused materials that either live their second life ot were unused but out of production. The philosophy of the brand is sustanability in whatever they do. I love the idea of utilizing materials that would have not been used otherwise. More info here. And just for your info: the round element you can see on my clutch is the bottom of a can. Would you have recognized it?
Talking about cans – did I tell you already that I am going to the Southside Festival in Germany with an amazing lineup including Macklemore, Jennifer Rostock, Ed Sheeran, Moonbootica and many more!! What do you think about festivals? In my opinion they are a smart idea to offer an incredibly wide range of music and bands for an acceptable and affordable price.
Well I will let you know more about our plans soon!
xx Feli

xx Feli
